Business Description

The KSD Education Foundation is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization that fosters academic excellence through cooperation among educators, parents, alums, and the local community. Our mission is to enrich the educational experience of students attending Kearney public schools, paving the way for a brighter future in ways not supported by tax dollars. Since our establishment in 2010, we have contributed over $500,000 in support to Kearney schools, staff, and students. This includes:

• Classroom Innovation Grants to help provide hands-on, project-based learning experiences in STEAM subjects.

• Special Allocation Grants to helpsupport enhanced projects rooted inlearningcreated by KSD teachers.

• Scholarships to help seniors pursue higher education.

• Teacher and Staff Awards to recognize staff for exemplary teaching.
